Reporting

Regular reports are provided to inform you of issues that have been resolved. We will also proactively contact you with alerts regarding the capacity and performance of your IT equipment. You can also request detailed reports through your dedicated email support address.

Remote Support

All our plans provide remote support service for basic software, hardware and connectivity problems. Userfriendly Computing remote assistance is provided to all customers over a broadband connection. Customers on all of our plans can phone our 0800 number. We will arrange a callback asap if we can’t resolve the problem over the phone and need to provide remote assistance. The Remote Support is staffed by qualified IT personnel, who will respond to your requests during business hours. Phone based support is available 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We will accept calls outside of standard working hours but a surcharge of $25 per hour will be charge. Remote Support is charged in 10 minute blocks.

On Site Support

If a problem cannot be resolved remotely, at your request Userfriendly Computing will be dispatched according to the urgency of the problem. Unlike most computer service providers Userfriendly Computing provides a results based service no matter how long the job takes. This fee is based on which plan you are on, the type of system (e.g. a notebook, a server, a printer, etc.) that needs repairing and how urgently you need it done. So you know what you’re up for with no surprises every single time. It’s a simple, easy to understand solution that makes your decision making much easier. On-site support will be offered only after remote services have been unsuccessful.

Installation of Microsoft updates and security patches

The security of your data is extremely important, as it may contain commercially sensitive and mission-critical information. Therefore, in addition to running antivirus and anti spyware programmes over your business network, it is essential to apply the security updates from Microsoft for both your Windows operating system and Microsoft Office software, ensuring they are protected against the latest threats. Userfriendly Computing will test, monitor and maintain these patches to make sure you are always up to date, providing you with reporting as required.”>Installation of Microsoft updates and security patches
